Serbian tennis sensation Ana Ivanovic inaugurated on her website, the new Adidas US Open dress with optional leggings. This outfit, she is expected to wear in this year's US Open in New York. The outfit is called The Adidas Women’s adilibria Dress.


The Adilibria Dress is a beautiful new dress design in a rich, feminine new colour that perfectly compliments the Autumnal season. Feminine touches are added with a fitted, high-waisted bodice design and wide camisole-like straps, allowing for a full range of arm movement.
A square neck compliments the female shape and the skirt area of the dress is loose offering plenty of access to move but still allowing modest coverage.

Cara Black of Zimbabwe and Leander Paes of India won their first U.S. Open mixed doubles title by beating Liezel Huber of the United States and Jamie Murray of Britain 7-6 (6), 6-4 in the final Thursday.

Paes has won four Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, and Black has won three — but this was the first for each at Flushing Meadows and the first for them as a team.

They were seeded fifth at the U.S. Open. Huber and Murray were unseeded.

Serena Williams will face sister Venus Williams at the US Open quarterfinals after she brought down Severine Bremond's run to a halt with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.

Serena and Venus have met 16 times previously with both winning eight matches, but this will be the first time they have met in the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam tournament.

Venus Williams, who eliminated Polish Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 6-3 on Monday, said life on the court would be easier if she didn't have a superstar sister.

In the other women's fourth-round matches Monday, Russian sixth seed Dinara Safina beat Anna-Lena Groenefeld 7-5, 6-0 and Flavia Pennetta of Italy trounced France's Amelie Mauresmo 6-3, 6-0.

Wednesday's US Open quarterfinal match will be a repeat of this year's Wimbledon final, which Venus won 7-5, 6-4.

2004 US Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova became the latest upset victim in the tournament, beaten by 28th-seeded Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia 6-3, 6-7 (1-7), 6-3 in the third round Friday.

A day after No. 1 Ana Ivanovic of Serbia lost to 188th-ranked Julie Coin of France, the third-seeded Kuznetsova was eliminated.

"She played her top game," Kuznetsova said. "For me, like, she played unbelievable."


No. 12 Marion Bartoli of France defeated No. 23 Lindsay Davenport of the United States 6-1, 7-6 (7-3), and No. 15 Patty Schnyder of Switzerland beat Magdalena Rybarikova of Slovakia 7-6 (7-4), 6-4. Former Open champion Marat Safin of Russia lost to No. 15 Tommy Robredo of Spain 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4, 6-0.

American Andy Roddick, seeded eighth, lost the first set and was down 5-3 in the second before rallying to defeat Ernests Gulbis of Latvia 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, 7-5.

World number one Ana Ivanovic was knocked out of the US Open in the second round when she was beaten 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 by French qualifier Julie Coin on Thursday.

Ivanovic suffered the earliest exit by a women's top seed at the US Open since tennis turned professional in 1968.

Ranked 188th in the word, 25-year-old Frenchwoman Coin recorded eight aces and benefited from 34 unforced errors by Ivanovic to bounce the Serb from the tournament.
