Italy has named their football squad for Beijing Olympics. Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi is the only over-age player in the 18-man squad.

Italy is Group D with Cameroon, Honduras and South Korea. Italy's first game is on August 7.

Italy declared their Euro 2008, 23 member squad. Initially coach Roberto Donadoni named 24 palyers to his training camp, but cut Riccardo Montolivo before submitting 23 member squad to the officials.

He was a regular member of Italy's under-21 squad, but made just one appearence for the senior Italy team.
