Eva Mendes has revealed that her 'hairy beast' of a father is to thank for her mane of hair.
The 37-year-old actress credited her father with providing the good genes for her long locks.
"I have good hair. My dad's a hairy beast and I have to thank him for that," she told Access Hollywood. "I have to thank him because I don't need extensions and stuff."
But she admitted there are other parts of her body that she hasn't always been so fond of.
"I used to hate my mouth," she said. "And my teeth were just big and my mouth was big.
"I'd always laugh and go like this," she continued, covering her mouth with one hand.
"About 15 years ago, I really started accepting all the things about myself that I didn't like growing up."
