Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has a right Achilles' tendon injury that could keep the Italian international out of the defending champion's Bundesliga game against Cologne on Saturday.
"He's been carrying it for a week already," Bayern coach Juergen Klinsmann said Sunday, one day after his team's 2-1 loss at Hertha Berlin.
Bayern's second loss in three games dropped it to third place in the table, two points behind Hertha, who took over the Bundesliga lead with Saturday's victory.
Luca Toni started the match but was forced to leave after 35 minutes.
