Russian Pole Vault queen Yelena Isinbayeva is the best European female sports personality. She won the 26th annual of the poll organized by European sports press organization UEPS.It is her second win after 2005.
Belgian high jump Olympic gold medalist Tia Hellebaut was third. The Trophy for best woman is now called Evgen Bergant Trophy named after great Slovenian journalist who worked also in the field of athletics.
