Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping to take things forward in signing Partizan Belgrade midfielder Zoran Tosic this week by helping him get a work permit.
The hearing to decide as to whether Tosic should be granted a work permit is sheduled for Friday.
If the permit is granted the Red Devils will then put forth a £9m bid which has been already agreed by the Partizan officials for Tosic and his team-mate Adam Ljajic, who is known as 'Little Kaka' in Serbia to leave for Old Trafford.
